Gym Hairstyles for Your Workout That'll Last All Day

There's nothing worse than having to pause, mid-workout, to fix your hair while at the gym or pounding the pavement. Don't waste any more energy worrying about hair hassles and keep reading for the best hairstyles for your next workout!

When you need to focus on the next rep, next step, next breath, a ponytail falling out or hair in your face shouldn't be sucking up your time or efforts. These are the top three hairstyles that rock it during the workout, and go perfectly with your trusty Lilac Market Headband!

A cute and secure hairstyle, this modern take on the classic ponytail won't budge no matter what! Start by taking the top section of hair around the crown to the back of the head, and tie off with an elastic. Repeat the process with another section across the back of the head, adding in the small ponytail you just made. Continue down, adding hair from behind the ears, the rest of the loose hair, and tie off the final ponytail every couple of inches to maintain the bubble look.

This adorable style will not just keep hair in place, but also creates gorgeous waves when taken down after you're done at the gym! Part the hair either down the middle or to the side part, and take a small section toward the top of the head at the part and separate into three sections. Then, instead of crossing three strands over the top like a French braid, reverse the process by crossing the strands underneath each other as you add hair to the plait with each cross. Give the braids some cute volume by loosening each strand slightly after tying off on.

There's a LOT of bun techniques out there, but do any of them actually stay up when you're getting down with a strong workout? This one does! First, add some grip to your hair with texturizing spray, or stick with unwashed strands. Flip your head over and fluff the hair with your fingers, but don't brush it out completely. Gather all of the hair high on your head and tie off with an elastic into a ponytail. Then twist and wrap the ponytail around the elastic, and tie off with another elastic. Fluff up the bun as desired!
