To make the headbands into a floral shape, put the twist of the headband facing you in the center of your hand, then flip the headband around your hand three times (think when you tie off your ponytail). Carefully slip off the headband and then flip the twisted headband inside out, adjusting until you get the desired look.
Pro tip: Keep the “flowers” in the same color palette but with a variety of prints: for example, a solid, an animal print and a tie dye in red, rust and neutral shades and add some greenery to the vase to help it pop!

Start with the headband that you want to look like icing on top - this one will go in the middle. Flatten the headband so the twist is on one end, and the widest part is on the other. Roll the widest part up to the twist. Set aside.
With the second headband, start the same way you would with the bouquet: put the twist of the headband facing you in the center of your hand, then flip the headband around your hand three times. Carefully take off your hand and flip inside out.
Finally, take your first rolled up headband and pull it halfway through, keeping the twist facing the “top” of the cupcake. Adjust the bottom headband first, then the top until it has the right look. Place in a cupcake liner, and voila! Easiest Valentine’s gift idea EVER.
